Have not been to refreshment bar for a long while but arrived in town early morning so only place I could see open I was only having milky coffee and toasted teacake but the coffee was like a little hug in a mug menu looked great and reasonable, staff lovely and was busy will be back next time in town to sample a bit more menu

Go with my sister for a catch up on most Sunday.The young lady always looks after us(credit to the business)...the food is amazing,and coffee is the best

Thanks so much to Phil and the team for the fabulous meat and potato and cheese and onion pie supplied for my husband’s 65th birthday. There was plenty for everyone and all arrive hot, with several side dishes, all plates, napkins etc. Everyone commented how good the food was, thanks again Judith

My Grandma used to take me here on a Saturday lunch when I was a child. Took my own kids 30 years later and it was just as awesome as I remembered!

I had a full English breakfast with my wife. The service staff was very nice. The food was exactly what a breakfast should be. They even came by to make sure we were liking everything and if we had enough on our plates. Best experience I've had in England this far at a restaurant. Tea was good too.

This is the only place I go when I go back to Blackburn. There amazing full English always helps set me up for a crazy 2 days with my grandsons . But honestly the food is awesome.
